During the core group meeting of the J&K BJP leaders in New Delhi, the BJP working President JP Nadda has asked the state leaders to prepare for elections in October along with other states i.e. Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Haryana.

 The meeting was attended by all the senior state leaders including Union Minister Jitendra Singh, BJP state President Ravinder Raina, General Secretary Org. Ashok Kaul, Former President Sat Sharma, Former Speaker and Dy CM Kavinder Gupta, Nirmal Singh, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Shamsher Singh, Sunil Sharma among others. 
The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of BJPs working President JP Nadda and BL Santosh who has been recently Appointed as the National General Secretary Org was also part of the meeting.
Though agenda of Delimitation was also discussed during the meeting but for Delimitation the BJP will have to pass another Presidential order followed by ratification of the Government which doesn't seem likely at such a short notice. The sources who attended the meeting said thay Article -35-A was not discussed during the meeting.
